Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your donut pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Whisk together the skim milk, melted unsalted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fill a ziplock bag with the batter, snip a corner, and pipe it into donut cavities filled about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool the donuts for 5 minutes, then brush with melted butter and coat in cinnamon sugar.
