Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil, spray with non-stick spray, lay out bacon strips, sprinkle rosemary and black pepper, and bake for 12-14 minutes until crispy.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter, add diced onion and minced garlic, cooking for about 4 minutes until onions are translucent.
  4. Sprinkle flour into the skillet with sautéed onions and garlic, stir for about a minute. Gradually pour in chicken broth and milk, stirring until the mixture thickens, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and fold in mozzarella cheese.
  5. Roll out pizza dough on a baking sheet into a 9x13 rectangle.
  6. Spread creamy sauce over the rolled-out dough, layer apple slices, bacon pieces, and cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake for approximately 20 minutes until cheese is bubbling and crust is golden brown.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil or microgreens, slice and serve warm.
